About Me

When we meet, the first thing I do is listen. I learn about your thoughts and frustrations, and I make sure I fully understand the main uses of each space. Often, my clients know what they want but need a helping hand to visualise how the room could look and how it could work best for their family. It’s often the simplest of changes and the smallest of investments that make the biggest impression.

My love of interior design began with our own renovation in 2003. We were lucky enough to completely rework a property that has been in our family for many years; we completely restyled the layout and opened up the space to make it work for us. Since then, my husband and I have undertaken some interesting property development projects – updating smaller properties and taking them to market.

I have an innate desire to support community initiatives and have been involved with a number of charities and social enterprises over the years. If a home needs house plants, I aim to purchase them from The Glasshouse, a social enterprise whose objective is to reduce reoffending through horticultural training and employment in the glasshouses of UK prisons. If I’m decluttering and there are perfectly good items that could be re-homed, I’ll take them to local charities where I know they’ll be well used.

It’s important to me that we all do our bit for the environment. I drive an electric car, recycle and re-use, and use organic and eco-friendly products wherever possible. I always prefer to use eco-paints as they’re much kinder to the environment with no compromise on quality.
