🫶🏼 FROM ME TO YOU ✨

Top tips and non-negotiable’s I’ve learnt along the way and use within my design process…

✨ Use paint samples stickers like ‘Coat’ and ‘Lick’ when choosing what colour to paint your room. They are so much better for moving around the room to see how different lights bring out their colour and tone as well as being much more sustainable then buying individual pots of sample paint. 🎨

✨ Declutter before you buy storage solutions! It is so beneficial to have a really good sort out first and then look at repurposing storage solutions you already have or buy new pieces when you definitely have a need for them. 🙌🏼

✨ You don’t need to buy everything new - sometimes a new throw and cushions on your sofa can be the refresh that the room needs 😍

✨ Think of your room as a recipe… ensure that the room has all the most perfect ingredients to make your space beautifully delicious… it’s going to take more than 1 ingredient (e.g. a sofa) to complete your room to perfection. 🧁

✨ Be careful not to tap too much into trends… it’s great to add a sprinkle of sage and taupe however too much of a trend can get tired very quickly! ⚡️

✨ Try not to be too ‘matchy matchy’ and inject some of you own personality in to the space, guarantees it will be a sanctuary for you ❤️

✨ Take you time - don’t impulse buy - think how it will work with other items in your room and home - slow down and consider saving up for something more bespoke or special pieces that you adore 🕰️

✨ Plants are one of the most inexpensive styling items to add to a room and have amazing health benefits 🪴

✨ You don’t need to fill every space in your room! Space can give other items in your room space to shine. Keeping it less cluttered will help you feel calmer and more settled 🤍
